Many job seekers, such as myself, understand that our resumes will go through an automatic system that may easily put us in the trash before any human set eyes on it. And, even if our resumes DO go through, they need to be short, easy to read, and to the point, yet hold SEO keywords reflective of the job we're applying for, and hint slightly at our personalities so that it doesn't look AI or boring. Something that will be professional yet attention-grabbing and that won't waste your time.
AND YET. When we go to look at job descriptions, it resembles a notorious recipe on a blogger's website. There's all this pointless information and we don't get to "qualifications" or even "job description" until the very end... The most IMPORTANT information becomes a chore to find.
Perhaps we can change the game and make it equal. We'll be short and to the point, but you should be, also. Give us the dirty info we need to know before wasting our time trying to sell us on a company we can't even work for.
