Complaining about Being busy

Gym Job I left the last post opened before hitting published, so it was actually written yesterday morning and oh my, how fast things happen. I have an interview for Workout  Anytime as a Fitness Director. Which I misread the requirements. 1 Year management experience. And then I looked up their reviews on Glassdoor... 2.5. Most people hate interviewing with them, although none were for this area. I would like to call and cancel the interview, but I suppose I might as well show up at this point.

Personal Editor I was also being interviewed to help someone work on a book, but I let him know that it was too boring for me. I didn't word it like that, but I did leave him with some writing advice and didn't give him my full edits. After all, he didn't pay for them, so it's not like I owe him.

TN Cam and I were also looking at a place in TN, and the landlady got back to me this morning saying she couldn't view my background check. I've sent it again. Hopefully, it works this time. I did the calculations. 750/mo is 9000/yr. I'll be so depressed if we end up living there for so long, we could've just bought the place. But, I've been wanting to live in TN. Not Nashville, but this is also close to AL, to his family. So it could work out. If we do get it, I'm going to see if I can focus on fashion and writing. I woke up thinking about what I wanted to wear to the interview, and I just wanted to make it! I have an idea of a boxy shirt I'd like to make, but it'll have to wait. Plus, I need to finish my paper today.

Paper My paper is officially due next Wednesday, I think. Which means my goal is to work on it 4 hours every day. I would like to STOP having so much confiscating my morning time. But I schedule for morning time because that's what works best for me. I'm just so busy right now and I hate it, though it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have this paper to worry about. Actually, that's my biggest complaint is this paper!

Imaginary Life Day 1

Things kinda suck right now. Not like everything is terrible, just more like my patience is constantly being tested and not much is going right. So I've decided I'm going to make up an imaginary life for this blog. Cam and I are getting ready to open up our shop. We had some disagreements on how to decorate it. He wanted something that felt like a coffee shop, cozy that supported local artists, with a natural yet dark color theme. I wanted a vintage vibe, 1920s inspiration, leather chairs, industrial shelving, dark decor. Elegant and sophisticated. But it isn't a coffee shop, or a bar, as mine would have been appropriate for. We are opening up a cupcake shop! Plant-based because we are both lactose intolerant and I never want to make something I can't try. It is also where customers can drop of vintage sewing machines to have serviced. This is a hobby of mine, so it just made sense to have both businesses run out of the same shop. For this reason, we combined the concep...

I paint???

I am definitely preparing for an event in less than two weeks 😬

Back to Basics

It's been a while since I've journaled online. I probably shouldn't. Love Life has been a bit hectic and I'm almost on the verge of getting overwhelmed. I'm ok for now, though. Last November, I went through a breakup. Somehow ended up with a new boyfriend almost immediately afterwards. And now, we are looking into moving in together. Already. And I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm not sure I've ever looked forward to moving in with ANYBODY. I'd rather be alone. I mean, I'd usually rather be single--I didn't even want to date my last boyfriend. He had to whine and complain and give me an ultimatum which really should've told me something, but I think I was too depressed to listen to reason. Now I'm with a guy that I actually love to be around and that makes me feel secure and happy. Who knew that was actually  a thing? Career You know how, by my age, I'm supposed to have things figured out, but then we find out a lot of peopl...
